Brazilian internet manager Nic.br has upgraded its mobile application for testing internet traffic on mobile devices, introducing new ways to test performance on the 3G, 4G and Wi-Fi networks. With the new features, it is possible to compare the quality of connection per operator, rather than by total sets of tests as previously, as well as the quality of internet access by region, which takes into account the results of the tests performed by other users.

The Simet Mobile also has a revamped user interface, with graphics and illustrated interpretations of the results as satisfactory, intermediate or poor. Also, the system is the first for end-users in Brazil that tests using IPv6.
